Why can I not get an e-ticket for my route, but I can with other ticket providers? Follow
Virgin Trains Ticketing uses the data supplied by the Train Operating Companies, such as Thameslink, Chiltern, LNER etc to determine if an e-ticket can be used at the stations you have selected. We have found this data to be the most accurate for details such as e-ticket scanners. If the Train Operating company for your route states that an e-ticket is not available, unfortunately, we are unable to provide this on our app.
