Rail Strikes - need to cancel your ticket? Follow
Train strikes or industrial action can affect some, if not all, UK rail services when they happen. They can make travel even trickier by affecting services the day before and after a strike. Some operators may run a reduced service and some lines may be a lot busier than usual.
Find out more about how services will be affected by visiting Industrial action on National Rail.
We know how frustrating this can be and we'll do what we can to help you plan ahead and get back on your way. We'll let you know in the app when train strikes are announced and keep you updated if anything changes, so once a strike is announced please keep an eye on your journeys in the app for any changes.
If you booked your ticket with us, your train is cancelled and you do not travel on an alternative service, you can get a full refund with the online refund form. Make sure to select the "Service Cancelled/Disrupted" option.
If your train is not affected by the strikes but your plans have changed, you can cancel your booking. However, you may need to pay an admin fee.
